Professor Receives Evelyn Berger Award from Charlotte Mecklenburg Aging Coalition

Dr. Julian Montoro-Rodriguez, Professor of Gerontology and Social Work and former Director of the Gerontology program, has received the 2019 Evelyn Berger Award from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Aging Coalition.

The award recognizes outstanding contributions an individual or organization has made to address and support older adult issues. The mission of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Aging Coalition is to facilitate inter-agency cooperation, identify critical issues and promote response strategies with regard to the aging population.
